Jarred was born and currently resides in the Durham Region. Since he was a teenager, Jarred has had a passion for the construction industry. During the summer, he worked in the electrical field in downtown Toronto and the general construction field in Mississauga.

In university, Jarred co-owned and operated a student-run painting business, Supreme Paints & Restorations. After completing his bachelor of commerce degree at Carleton University and entering the corporate business world, he quickly realised that wasn't his passion.

He turned back to what he knew — painting. Jarred worked several years specialising in custom trim work, carpentry, and full-scale renovations while operating his own side business (Lofthouse).

Jarred understands his years in the industry may not be as long as those like Mike Holmes. But what he lacks in experience, he makes up for by devoting himself to constantly learning new things throughout his construction journey. These include new products, better practises, and speciality skills.
